For the European Archaeology Days, the Abbey museum brings its collections down to children’s level. Each session offers two short workshops: an introduction to archaeology — how you dig, how you read what you find — and a mosaic workshop, echoing the Gallo-Roman mosaic kept at the museum.
Three afternoon sessions (2 pm, 3.15 pm, 4.30 pm), 1¼ hours each, for children aged 8 and up with an adult. It’s free, but places are limited: booking required on 05 63 41 03 81. A good way into the Abbey museum and its archaeological holdings.
