Gaillac Wine Festival

Festival · Parc Foucaud

The Gaillac Wine Festival is the vineyard’s summer gathering. From 31 July to 2 August 2026, more than forty-five winegrowers of the appellation set up under the centuries-old trees of Parc Foucaud, on the bank of the Tarn, for three days of tasting.

During the day, entry is free: you buy your glass (€4) and work your way round the stalls at your own pace. In the evening it shifts into festival mode — €8 for an evening pass, glass included (or €20 for all three evenings, €14 for two), free for under-18s, with roving music through the park and a concert every night. Sunday winds up around 11.30pm with a big firework display.

You’ll find everything from age-worthy reds to more confidential cuvées, dry whites and ancestral-method sparklers. The growers are there in person: it’s the chance to taste, side by side, grape varieties found only here and to leave with whatever you liked. Nothing of the trade fair about it — local producers, fair prices, a village fête that has grown without losing its soul.

The weekend is punctuated by Saturday’s opening and the winegrowers’ Mass on Sunday morning, but the heart of it is the evenings. Come early to taste in peace, stay late for the atmosphere.
