Château de Salettes

9.2 · 84 reviews

A boutique hotel in a 16th-century wine château. Pool, fine dining and vineyards as far as the eye can see on the hillsides of Cahuzac.

The Château de Salettes has overlooked a hundred hectares of vines since the 13th century. Patiently restored by the Cournou family, it offers just fifteen rooms, a fine-dining restaurant, a pool at the foot of the vines, and the chance to join the winemakers during harvest.

The main building houses the character rooms; the Tower, at the end of the courtyard, two suites with 270° views. The restaurant is open Thursday to Monday evening, and Sunday lunch. Half board recommended — the cooking alone is worth the detour.
