Le Flacon de la Verrouille is a former 18th-century presbytery, restored with the care you reserve for buildings you love. It is not in Bruniquel itself but ten minutes by road, at a hamlet called La Verrouillé — one hectare of wooded park with a pond, a chapel, century-old trees and a pool you discover around a hedge.
Three suites of 23 to 25 m², each with its own bathroom. The decoration mixes contemporary and second-hand with a sure hand — a bamboo headboard, a terracotta wall, gold fittings, old floorboards. The windows open onto the park, and the silence is the kind of luxury you only find in the countryside.
The shared lounge has a billiards table and deep armchairs — you spend the evening there when you do not feel like driving. Breakfast is included and served with local produce. Bruniquel and its twin châteaux are ten minutes away, the Aveyron gorges five.
